Leeds United have been linked with a move for Ezgjan Alioski of Lugano. A report in Swiss newspaper Blick earlier this month credited the Championship club with interest in the 25-year-old (click here to read more).
Alioski is a very good attacker who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder. The Macedonia international enjoyed a successful Swiss Super League campaign in 2016-17 on a personal level.

The former Schaffhausen man scored 16 goals in 34 league matches last season, according to WhoScored, as Lugano finished third in the Swiss Super League.
Leeds’s (reported) interest in Alioski is understandable. The West Yorkshire outfit will be aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship next season, and the attacker would be a good addition to the current squad.

However, Lugano manager Pierluigi Tami does not seem to want Alioski to make the move to Leeds in the summer transfer window; he wants him to join Italian side Atalanta if indeed the attacker leaves for another club.
“I am ready to welcome Alioski, Atalanta want him, but also someone else,” Inside Futbol quotes Tami as saying.
“Keeping hold of him is difficult, but when a player does well, it is normal for people to notice him. I would be happy if he goes to Atalanta because I am a Bergamasco.”
