The Ibrox academy prospect was spotted with Steven Gerrard’s Rangers first team on Wednesday.

It is now looking unlikely that Dapo Mebude will make his debut for Rangers against Spartak Moscow.
The Rangers academy striker travelled with Steven Gerrard’s first team to Russia on Wednesday and was later pictured training with his Ibrox colleagues.
But a photo taken at Rangers’ youth team fixture against the same opposition this morning showed Mebude (front row, bottom left) aligning instead with his fellow Gers youngsters, ahead of a 2-1 defeat for the visitors.
Gerrard is without Kyle Lafferty for this evening’s game, leaving just Alfredo Morelos and Umar Sadiq as recognised options in attack.
And while it is possible the Rangers boss could still include Mebude – perhaps, too, Andrew Dallas – in his final 18, the chances of the 17-year-old making his debut at the Otkritie Arena appear slim given his youth team participation.
