Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Juan Foyth.

The 19-year-old defender has signed a contract with Spurs until 2022, and has become Tottenham’s third major signing of the summer. Here’s the picture of him holding the Tottenham shirt after he was unveiled.
The north London club have been targeting the 19-year-old defender throughout the summer, but at one point it seemed they would miss out on the Argentine, after two clubs failed to reach a common ground on the player’s evaluation.
Paris Saint-Germain and Zenit Saint Petersburg are also believed to have wanted Foyth this summer, but he changed his mind after Mauricio Pochettino allegedly called him to let him know that he has been tracking his progress.
Foyth joins Paulo Gazzaniga and Davinson Sanchez, but Spurs are expected to make one or two more signings before the transfer deadline.
