Elijah Dixon-Bonner’s importance at Liverpool continues to increase as he was taken to Milan by Jurgen Klopp.
Dixon-Bonner debut?
The 20-year-old has recently trained with the first-team, but has not made a match day squad in either the Premier League or the Champions League this season.
Dixon-Bonner’s only previous appearances for Liverpool have actually come in the League Cup, where he has featured twice.
The central-midfielder has been making good progress with the Reds’ development side.
And it seems that Klopp may well be considering using the youngster tonight.
Klopp actually handed Tyler Morton his Champions League debut for Liverpool against Porto in their most recent European match and it seems similar could happen later this evening.

Rotation incoming
The Reds boss has already hinted that he will rotate his side, with Liverpool’s qualification already secured.
The Reds are effectively playing a dead-rubber, but if Dixon-Bonner is selected it will be a huge occasion for him.
It could also be a major challenge for Klopp’s side’s youngsters.
Milan are still fighting for their Champions League future and need a victory be certain of progress to the next round.
Even if Dixon-Bonner doesn’t play the experience of being involved in a European match-day squad should be hugely encouraging for him, as he looks to make his mark at Anfield over the coming years.
