In November, it was reported that Arsenal coaches were excited by Nathan Butler-Oyedeji.
According to Gunners’ academy expert Jeorge Bird, those at London Colney have high hopes for the youngster and have noted his development this season.
And it looks like Mikel Arteta is an admirer, too.
That’s because Arteta included the 19-year-old in his latest training session at Colney ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on New Year’s Day.
In one photograph, Gabriel Magalhaes can be seen absolutely towering above the diminutive – but ‘explosive‘ – striker.

Of course, Arsenal supporters shouldn’t expect to see him face the Seagulls on Saturday.
Having said that, a place on the bench wouldn’t be massively surprising.
Remember, the Spanish manager has already unleashed Ethan Nwaneri this season, at the age of only 15 to become the Premier League’s youngest-ever player.
And with Arsenal only having Eddie Nketiah in terms of recognised striking options right now, well stranger things have absolutely happened.
