Arsenal No.7 Bukayo Saka has been photographed alongside a target for Mikel Arteta while on international duty with England.
The 21-year-old is a popular figure amongst Gareth Southgate’s squad, and seems to be friends with basically everybody at St George’s Park judging by the footage released by England.
Many will know Saka is close with Declan Rice – who The Times believe is Arsenal’s No.1 target this summer.
However, the Hale End graduate has now been spotted laughing with another target for Arteta.
What’s the story?
Well, England uploaded photos of training at St George’s Park, where Saka could be seen enjoying himself alongside James Maddison.
It comes after 90min claimed that the Leicester No.10 is a target for Arsenal as Arteta aims to strengthen his midfield department at the end of the season.
You can see the photo of Saka and Maddison below.
Maddison – who the Telegraph believe would cost £60m – has enjoyed a phenomenal campaign for Leicester this term despite the Foxes struggling down the bottom of the Premier League.
The 26-year-old has scored nine goals while also providing five assists in 19 Premier League appearances.
Maddison’s efforts have been vital for Leicester – were it not for his 14 goal involvements, their current position of 17th in the Premier League would surely be a lot worse.
Arsenal would have two of England’s finest in Saka & Maddison
If Edu can find a way to bring Maddison to the Emirates Stadium, it could take Arsenal up a gear.
With all due respect to Granit Xhaka – who has worked hard to improve his goalscoring output in Arsenal’s left sided No.8 role – there is room to upgrade that area.

In Maddison – a player who has thrived for Leicester in a similar area, cutting inside on his right foot to great effect – Arteta could find the ideal partner for Martin Ødegaard.
Whether it is Rice, Maddison, Moises Caicedo or a surprise name, Arsenal look likely to sign a new midfielder this summer – be sure to keep an eye on the situation.
