Arsenal were put through their paces on a rain-soaked afternoon at London Colney today.
Mikel Arteta’s troops are gearing up for a Europa League visit to PSV Eindhoven on Thursday evening and one player stood out during the Spaniard’s latest session.
Due to the conditions, virtually every Arsenal player showed up well insulated at training.
Some donned leggings. Some wore their training jackets. And many wore a combination of both.
However, Kieran Tierney, a £25 million signing in 2019 [BBC Sport], wore his usual t-shirt and shorts, minus the leggings. Below is an image of the Scotland international, relative to how his teammates looked.

The former Celtic left-back and Scott Brown used to regularly show up their teammates North of the border by reporting for training in the same attire, regardless of hail, rain or snow – and on some occasions it was the latter.
And it’s good to see that Tierney has retained that stoicism and continues to make his Arsenal colleagues look timid in comparison to the type of weather he can and evidently does endure.
With Oleksandr Zinchenko still absent from the Gunners’ training, the 24-year-old can expect to start at left-back against the Eredivisie outfit on Thursday evening as Arteta’s side look to make it five wins from a possible five in this competition.
