Well, Arsenal‘s mid-season training camp is definitely underway.
Mikel Arteta and his Gunners squad have flown out to Dubai to prepare for the return of the Premier League season in a few weeks.
With Arsenal top of the table, Arteta’s side have the most to lose going into the second half of the campaign.
It is hoped that with Dubai being so close to Qatar, the location of the World Cup, the North Londoners’ contingent at the competition will be able to join up with their teammates relatively soon after being eliminated from the tournament.
On Tuesday, Arsenal released photographs of their latest session.
In one photo, Rob Holding, a £2 million signing by Arsene Wenger in 2016 [Daily Mail], can be seen demonstrating his height by towering over his teammates, one of whom is Ethan Nwaneri.

Arsenal supporters haven’t seen the 15-year-old since becoming the Premier League’s youngest-ever player a little earlier this season.
But he’s in Dubai and therefore could have a role to play in their upcoming friendlies.
First up for Arteta’s side is a clash with Lyon tomorrow, before going on to face AC Milan and Juventus next Tuesday and Saturday respectively.
