With the international break on the horizon, Jürgen Klopp told seven Liverpool players to take some time off after an extremely hectic schedule.
Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Thiago, Diogo Jota, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Georginio Wijnaldum and Andy Robertson were all absent as a result.
In their place, Klopp decided to invite a number of youngsters to the AXA Training Centre to train with the first-team.
The likes of Polish wonderkid Mateusz Musiałowski were present, as well as U23 stars Owen Beck, Conor Bradley and others.
Also involved in training was Kaide Gordon, a £1 million signing from Derby County.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the Reds beat Manchester United and Tottenham to the prospect’s signature.
The teenager was spotted shooting past Alisson Becker on Merseyside.

The 16-year-old has been likened to Mohamed Salah, and was named Derby’s Academy Player of the Year last season.
Before he left Pride Park, Wayne Rooney even handed him his Championship debut, where he played in a 4-0 win over Birmingham.
Since arriving at Anfield, Klopp is yet to use the winger, as you’d expect for a player as young as Gordon.
However, he could well be a key cog in Liverpool’s future on the flanks, along with Harvey Elliott.
