Arsenal will be desperate to offload Sead Kolasinac before the January transfer window is done and dusted.

Despite playing only 90 minutes of Premier League football this season, Kolasinac is earning substantial money at Arsenal.

The 28-year-old receives around £100,000 per week in salary from the Gunners, but they could free up that figure from the wagebill this month and beyond – especially after pictures from London Colney.

The former Schalke powerhouse is back in Mikel Arteta’s training, after being spotted in Wednesday’s session.

This is a significant development because Kolasinac suffered a horrendous-looking ankle injury on international duty with Bosnia and Herzegovina in November.

And with Kolasinac being linked with a transfer away from Arsenal at that time, the injury threatened to collapse his potential move to Turkey, with Yeni Asir reporting prior to his absence that he was in talks with Fenerbahce regarding a winter move.

While the stocky left-back was sidelined, leaving was never going to happen but, now that he’s evidently fit – or least participating in training – it would seem like a departure just may be on the agenda for Kolasinac – signed by Arsene Wenger in 2017 – once again.

Here are some photos of Kolasinac in Arsenal’s latest training session:
