Philippe Coutinho reportedly prefers a move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, but the former Liverpool attacking midfielder has now been offered to Everton, according to The Daily Mail.
The Daily Mail have reported that Coutinho’s representatives have spoken to Everton about a possible move to Goodison Park in the January transfer window.
Sport reported earlier this week that Coutinho prefers a move to Arsenal despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Everton.
Arsenal or Everton for Philippe Coutinho?
In our opinion, joining Arsenal instead of Everton would be better for Coutinho.
Arsenal are aiming for the Premier League top four, while the Toffees may not even finish in the top half of the league table.
The Gunners are a big club and a global brand.

Moreover, Coutinho is a former Liverpool player.
Liverpool fans will surely not like it if the Brazil international moves to Everton.
Just like Rafael Benitez in the summer of 2021.
Now, of course, Coutinho will not be able to simply walk into the team at Arsenal.
Martin Odegaard and Emile Smith Rowe are creative midfielders.
But, Coutinho is a more experienced player who would make Arsenal better in attack.
