Some Aston Villa fans on social media have been reacting to reports linking them with a move for Burnley’s Dwight McNeil.
Villa are reportedly keen to bring in a new attack-minded wide player this summer, and McNeil is someone they’ve apparently got an eye on.
The 21-year-old has been a bright spark for Burnley over the past couple of seasons, and while it’s difficult to really show off your abilities when playing in a Sean Dyche team, McNeil has still managed to make a real impression on the Premier League.
The youngster has a brilliant left-foot and as you can imagine, Villa fans are very excited by the prospect of bringing him in.
We can absolutely understand why as well, the idea of McNeil playing in this Villa side alongside the likes of Jack Grealish and Ollie Watkins is mouth-watering.
Of course, it remains to be seen whether or not a move to Villa Park for McNeil comes to fruition, but if the winger does arrive in the Midlands it will certainly be a popular signing.
