Gabby Agbonlahor has stated that Gabriel Jesus would be ‘perfect’ for Arsenal, as he told talkSPORT on Wednesday morning.
The former striker also urged Arsenal to add Leicester City midfielder, Youri Tielemans, to the club’s ranks this summer.
There are strong rumours suggesting that Mikel Arteta wants to bring the duo to north London, so from that perspective, Arsenal fans will be glad.
But given that they failed to secure Champions League football for next season, then it will be interesting to see just how far they can push to sign these players.
Either way, former Villa forward, Agbonlahor, backed the idea of Jesus and Tielemans heading to the Emirates.
“They have to get him (Jesus),” said Agbonlahor. “He’s the perfect striker for Arsenal.
“Odegaard in-behind. Finding his little runs that he likes to make. Then you have Saka on the right and Martinelli on the left. Smith Rowe is also available.
“Get Tielemans in that midfield also. With Partey and Odegaard. It just looks a lot better for Arsenal, doesn’t it? They need that striker.
“They can’t rely on Nketiah next season. He (Jesus) is going to be hungry. He’s going to want to play football as well. The World Cup is coming and he’s guaranteed that (game time) at Arsenal – he would be the main man at Arsenal.”

JESUS AND TIELEMANS ARE WHAT ARSENAL AND ARTETA NEED
First thing is first, if both players were to be signed, then they would walk into Arsenal’s XI.
Jesus, who scored 13 goals in all competitions this season, would be a bigger scoring threat than Eddie Nketiah, whilst the Brazil star would also link-up play a lot better than the Englishman.
As for Tielemans, the Belgian star would allow the Europa League side to control games a lot better, provide more forward passes from the midfield, chip in with some crucial goals and compliment Thomas Partey.
Either way, if both can be signed this summer, then it will leave many Arsenal fans pretty happy.
