Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are ready to pay Manchester City striker and Tottenham Hotspur transfer target Gabriel Jesus £190,000 per week as salary, according to The Sun.

The Sun are reporting this evening that Arsenal are offering Jesus £190,000 per week plus bonus to bring him to the Emirates Stadium in the summer transfer winow.

Premier League champions Manchester City want £50 million as transfer fee for the Brazil international striker, according to the report.

The Telegraph reported last month that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham are keen on Jesus, and that the striker is aware of interest from Spurs..

Tottenham should not match Arsenal’s offer for Gabriel Jesus

In our view, Tottenham Hotspur should not match Arsenal’s £190,000-a-week offer for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.

Tottenham are not in desperate need for a striker; Arsenal are.

Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world, and Son Heung-min scored as many goals as Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah did in the Premier League this past season.

In our opinion, if Jesus wants to move to Arsenal for £190,000 per week, then Tottenham should walk away from a potential deal, as that is too much to pay for a striker who may not even play week in and week for them.
