Tottenham fans can now see the first images of Pedro Porro in training alongside the likes of Harry Kane at Hotspur Way.

Spurs signed the Spain international in a £40m deal from Sporting Lisbon on transfer deadline day, with Matt Doherty joining Atlético Madrid in what was a one in, one out scenario for the north Londoners.

There is plenty of excitement surrounding the arrival of Porro, who seems to already be making friends at Hotspur Way.

What’s the story?

Well, the Spaniard has been spotted in training at Hotspur Way for the first time since his £40m move from Sporting Lisbon.

As you can see below, Porro appears to be getting on well with Kane and Heung-min Son, as the trio could be seen laughing alongside each other during a training drill.

Porro was also photographed being given a talking to by Cristian Stellini at Hotspur Way, who is currently covering for Antonio Conte after the Italian’s gallbladder surgery.

The expectation is that the 23-year-old walks straight into the starting XI in place of Emerson Royal, so the 48-year-old may have been giving the right wing-back some advice ahead of a potential debut against Manchester City this Sunday.

Interestingly, Manchester City made a late attempt to hijack Porro’s move to Tottenham – as revealed by Record – although the defender wanted to stay true to his word and join Spurs.

Porro & Kane could cause chaos at Tottenham

After watching some clips of Porro’s devilish deliveries from the right flank, we believe him and Kane could strike up a highly effective partnership.

Just look at this particular cross below – it is the type of service Kane has been dreaming of while the likes of Emerson and Doherty struggle to provide for him.

Even if there are games in which Porro is fairly quiet, his willingness to overlap down the right flank should help take defenders away from Dejan Kulusevski, so his mere presence in the starting XI may transform Spurs.

Hopefully, Tottenham fans get to see their latest recruit in action this weekend against Manchester City.
