Paul Merson has raved about Leeds United star Stuart Dallas on Sky Sports News (2:10pm, April 24, 2021).
The former Arsenal and Aston Villa star, who now works as a pundit for Sky Sports, made the comments about Dallas while discussing his goals against Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League earlier this month.
Leeds played the entire second half with 10 men, with Dallas, who is a winger by trade but is often deployed as a left-back by Bielsa, scoring both the goals, including the winner late on.
Merson said about Dallas on Sky Sports News (2:10pm, April 24, 2021): “He has been absolutely outstanding this season. He has got better and better.”
The Englishman added: “He is a real good footballer. I am a big fan of his. I was a big fan of his when he was at Brentford.”
Big player for Leeds United
Dallas has been on the books of Leeds since 2015 and has developed a lot under Bielsa.
The Northern Ireland international is a winger by trade, but the 30-year-old has been deployed as a left-back and as a midfielder.

The former Brentford star has excelled in whatever positions he has played, and he always seems to enjoy his football.
Former Manchester City star Micah Richards recently said that Dallas is like James Milner for Leeds. Not many fans will disagree.
Dallas has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 32 Premier League matches for Leeds so far this season, according to WhoScored.
