Paul Merson has predicted on SportsKeeda that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will win against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in North London in the Premier League this weekend.
The former Arsenal star believes that the Gunners will pick up all three points from the encounter against the Red Devils on Sunday courtesy of a 3-1 victory.
The Sky Sports pundit has said that the suspension of Brazilian defensive midfielder Casemiro for United against Arsenal will play a big role in the final outcome.

Merson wrote: “This is a much harder game for Arsenal than the Tottenham match. Casemiro is a big player, and United would’ve had just as much of a chance as Arsenal if he was available.
“He brings experience to the midfield and would’ve been on Martin Odegaard. They’ll miss his presence in this match.
“Luke Shaw marked Erling Haaland out of the game last week – leave him out of the lineup at your own peril. With Casemiro suspended for this match, I’m backing Arsenal to win this game.”
A footnote added: “Prediction: Arsenal 3-1 Manchester United.”
Who will win?
In our view, Arsenal will head into the match against Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium as favourites.
Yes, United are doing extremely well at the moment and will be determined to win the Premier League match against the Gunners.
But, Arsenal have been arguably the best team in the Premier League so far this season and are many observers’ favourites to win the title.
The Gunners are leading the table, and the match against United is at home.
Moreover, as Merson notes, the Red Devils will be without Casemiro.
Along with Marcus Rashford, the former Real Madrid ace has been the best player at United so far this season.
And the Red Devils will miss him against Arsenal.
