WWE mastermind Paul Heyman has fired back after NFL legend Tom Brady called the world of professional wrestling “cute” during a viral exchange with Logan Paul.

The back-and-forth between the retired quarterback and WWE personalities has escalated beyond playful banter.

Heyman is now directly addressing Brady’s comments and turning the heat up on the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

Paul Heyman responds to Tom Brady calling WWE “cute”

The exchange began on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, where Brady took a playful jab at WWE while discussing athleticism.

Now, Sports Illustrated on X highlighted Heyman’s reaction to Brady’s comments.

“What’s Tom Brady done? He’s thrown a football across a field that was caught by Gronkowski,” Heyman said.

During the podcast, Brady described WWE as “cute,” suggesting that while he respected the sport, its competition was not on the same level as the NFL.

The comment quickly drew reactions from the wrestling world, not least Logan Paul, who responded creatively with highlight reels and rebuttals that underscored the athletic skill on display in scripted matches.

That “cute” line didn’t sit well with Heyman, who has now inserted himself into the conversation with a pointed warning about how he and Paul could handle Brady in a WWE-style confrontation, even joking that a mic segment in front of a live audience would be far more punishing than anything Brady has faced before.

Paul Heyman mocks Tom Brady again with savage follow-up quote

Paul Heyman wasn’t done once he addressed Brady’s initial comments, as he took direct aim at the idea that Brady’s NFL legacy automatically commands respect in every arena.

In one of his most unfiltered responses yet, Heyman emphasised just how little he thought of Brady’s dismissal of wrestling as a competition.

“Gronkowski deserves the credit. Belichick and his girlfriend deserve the credit, but Tom Brady? Eh-eh,” Heyman added.

That remark was widely shared among wrestling fans, reinforcing Heyman’s position that dismissing WWE’s physical demands and performers is a misstep.

The feud has only gained momentum, especially with a crossover flag football event approaching in March, where both Brady and Paul are set to compete, adding another layer to the rivalry between NFL prestige and WWE showmanship.
