Tottenham Hotspur usually love a Deadline Day spending spree, but after spending big on several new signings this summer, there’s a feeling that there won’t be too much activity on north London this year.

Indeed, Spurs have landed no fewer than seven new first-team signings already, and Deadline Day could be rather quiet compared to what we’ve seen in previous years.

However, a quiet Deadline Day doesn’t necessarily mean a silent Deadline Day, there are still a few moves Spurs could make here.

Bryan Gil needs replacing after his loan to Valencia, while the same can be said of Japhet Tanganga if he eventually makes his Spurs exit on the final day of the window.

With that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting Tottenham’s potential post-Deadline Day XI

We’re predicting just one new addition on the final day of the transfer window as Daniel James arrives from Leeds United.

Fabio Paratici is apparently a massive fan of James, and Tottenham have reportedly reopened negotiations for the Welshman over the past 24 hours.

Interestingly, we have James starting as a right-wing-back in our team, but he could just as easily do a job in any of the attacking roles in the front three.

If Spurs do sign James, they’ll have made eight signings this summer, but intriguingly, we only have two of them starting in our team in the shape of Ivan Perisic and James.

Other than that, it’s the same team we’ve grown accustomed to seeing so far this season, but don’t be too shocked if Richarlison eventually takes Heung-Min Son’s place in the XI if his poor run continues.
