Forget Tottenham Hotspur pair Harry Kane and Son Heung-min.
Prior to a ball being kicked this season, those two were seen as Spurs’ most important players by a landslide.
And although Kane is still doing his thing, scoring 13 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions, Son hasn’t shown up.
Instead, Rodrigo Bentancur is emerging as a massive player for Antonio Conte.
On Saturday, he scored two late goals as Tottenham left it late to beat Leeds United 4-3.

Bear in mind, the Uruguay international has also scored massive goals late on against Sporting in the Champions League and Bournemouth in the Premier League.
He is becoming a vital figure for Conte and in terms of value, well what a ridiculous signing he is looking.
Fabio Paratici spent a mere £16.6 million [Athletic] on bringing him to North London last January and the Italian could probably spend the next five years at Spurs and still not get a bigger bargain.
Bentancur is only 25 and is certainly going to get a lot more influential.
He is a game-changing figure for Tottenham and considering they only got him for that amount, well it’s an insane piece of business and one that Paratici probably won’t top throughout his reign as the Lilywhites’ managing director.
