Fabio Paratici has long been linked with signing Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie for a second time at Tottenham and now, Spurs have the ideal chance to land the USA star – with Juventus keen on signing Davinson Sanchez.
McKennie, 24, has starred for Juventus since joining the club from Schalke – initially on loan in 2020. He has clocked up 91 appearances for The Old Lady, proving to be the energy in Juve’s midfield. He has had a hand in 17 goals for Juve.
Indeed, he was signed by Paratici at Juventus. Now, Paratici is being linked with a move for McKennie again. He wants to sign the £34million-rated ace, with TuttoSport reporting just this month that Spurs are preparing a bid for him.
Spurs have now been handed a potential boost in their pursuit of McKennie, in the form of Sanchez. The Colombian has fallen down the pecking order under Antonio Conte and will be keen to move in January, given his game time.

Tottenham have chance to land McKennie with Juventus keen on Sanchez
McKennie would be a superb signing. You get the impression that because of his impact in the defensive aspect of the pitch, but also his ability to contribute in attack, he would suit Conte’s style. Paratici knows him better than most.
But there are other clubs keen on McKennie, too. But Spurs have the ideal chance to now land McKennie and that is because, Juventus want Sanchez. CMW claim that the Colombia international is a £22million target for Juventus.
Sanchez has started just six of Tottenham’s 14 league games this season. He might have hoped to get more game time with Cristian Romero injured but he has not – Conte preferring Dier on the right and Clement Lenglet in the middle.
So, Sanchez really needs to leave Spurs in January in order to get regular game time and Juventus are keen. Spurs and Paratici would love to sign McKennie. Surely, a swap deal to sign McKennie and include Sanchez can be organised.
