Jamie Redknapp says the transfer value of Fabio Paratici captures at Tottenham Hotspur – Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski – has now ‘trebled’.
The former Tottenham midfielder added that’s the ‘two bits of great business’ Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte have done during their time working together in north London.
Both players arrived last January when Spurs were chasing Champions League football, with the duo bringing a new lease of life, goal threat and added quality that helped them pip their neighbours to that all-important fourth spot.

Those at Hotspur Way paid Juventus £21.5 million for Bentancur, whilst the deal for Kulusevski will become permanent and his deal will cost £29.2 million (Sky Sports).
The duo – because of injury – were absent for their side’s New Year’s Day defeat to Aston Villa and their lack of presence out on the pitch was felt because it was a lifeless and lacklustre performance from the club.
But when discussing Tottenham’s incomings, amid the club’s poor form and talk of Conte’s future, this is what Redknapp had to say about Bentancur and Kulusevski, as he told Sky Sports Premier League.
“Two bits of great business have been done, Kulusevski and Bentancur,” said Redknapp. “Whatever they paid for them. It’s probably trebled. Paratici brought them in and Conte as well. They are huge assets for the club.”

BENTANCUR AND KULUSEVSKI NEED TO RETURN
A lot has been made of Conte’s tactics, Tottenham’s form, their habit of continually falling behind and their defensive set-up.
But, one thing is for sure, with Bentancur and Kulusevski in their XI, they are a different animal and they become more alive in the final third.
Spurs will take on London rivals Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, with the above duo not featuring because they are still injured, but the quicker they return, the quicker the mood of Tottenham fans can change because it’s on the floor, at the minute.
