Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has said on Sky Sports that Xherdan Shaqiri’s left foot is the best at Liverpool, even better than Mohamed Salah’s.
The former Arsenal midfielder made the comments during a chat with his Liverpool teammate Andy Robertson and a Sky Sports presenter.
The England international dismissed Robertson’s claim when the Scotland international left-back said that he has the best left foot in the Liverpool squad.
Oxlade-Chamberlain said that Liverpool winger Shaqiri has the best left foot in the squad, adding that it is even better than Egypt international forward Mohamed Salah’s.
This is how the chat on Sky Sports (2:02) went:
Oxlade-Chamberlain to Robertson: “You are telling me you have got a better left foot than Shaq?”
Robertson: “Oh, yeah, I forgot about Shaq.”
Oxlade-Chamberlain: “Yeah, you did, didn’t you?”
When asked by the Sky Sports presenter about Salah, Oxlade-Chamberlain said: “Nah. No chance. We are talking technique here, technicians.”

Shocking claim?
Salah is a world-class footballer who has developed into a goal machine during his time at Liverpool.
On the other hand, Shaqiri has struggled to make a massive impact at Anfield and is nothing more than a squad player.
It is quite a shocking claim from Oxlade-Chamberlain that Shaqiri has the best left foot at Liverpool.
What is interesting is that Robertson agreed with Oxlade-Chamberlain when he was reminded about Shaqiri.
While Shaqiri may have a brilliant left foot, overall Salah is the better footballer – there can be no doubt about that.
