Darren Bent raved about Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah on talkSPORT (6:28pm, January 31, 2021).
The former Tottenham Hotspur striker said that Salah has not played especially well so far this season, but the Liverpool forward has still been banging in the goals.
According to WhoScored, the Egypt international forward has scored 15 goals and provided three assists in 18 Premier League starts for the Reds so far this season.
The former Chelsea attacker has also found the back of the net thrice in the Champions League this campaign, according to WhoScored.
The 28-year-old is also the top scorer in the Premier League at the moment with 15 goals, three more than Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min.
Bent said about Salah on talkSPORT (6:28pm, January 31, 2021): “I don’t even think he has played that well this season, but the fact that he has got that many goals already is scary.”
The Englishman added: “He has got 15 goals in 20 games, and I don’t think he has played that well yet. The numbers are insane, outstanding.”

Goal machine
Salah is a world-class forward and has become an absolute goal machine. The Liverpool star is a key player in manager Jurgen Klopp’s side, and his importance in the team can never be undermined.
According to WhoScored, the former AS Roma star scored 19 goals and provided 10 assists in the league last season, while in 2018-19, he scored 22 goals and gave eight assists in the league.
For Liverpool to win the Premier League and the Champions League this season, Salah will have to be on top of his game throughout.
