As Arsenal prepare to take home the all-important 3 points against Everton, George Lewis has been pictured training with the first-team.
The 22-year-old is just one of many youngsters at the club who has been getting a chance to train as a part of Mikel Arteta’s senior team, such as Amario Cozier-Duberry, Charles Sagoe Jr and Kaleel Green recently.

It seems as if George Lewis has also been trusted to become a part of first-team training ahead of Wednesday night’s contest as all eyes will be on Arsenal to see if they can get over the line against Everton.

Described as an ‘outstanding’ bur ‘raw’ talent by his former coach Jonathan Hill via GOAL, the highly-rated right winger has also drawn the attention of Mikel Arteta, who once said he had ‘huge potential.’
Well, now it seems George Lewis’ natural gift is being put to test in training, as he was pictured hugging Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah ahead of his side’s contest against Everton, as shared by youth football-focused writer Jeorge Bird.
Arteta is seemingly setting an example for other wonderkids at Arsenal
By calling up young players like George Lewis to training ahead of big fixtures such as against Sean Dyche’s Everton, Mikel Arteta seemingly aims to send a message to the raw prospects at the club that they too can be involved with the senior team one day.
Ultimately, it is not as if the club will plan to put an end to their policy of promoting the youth anytime soon, especially seeing how this tradition has been rewarded with the successes of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith-Rowe and Eddie Nketiah.
As the Gunners look to set their own dynasty for years to come, other talented prospects have a chance to make their marks as well.
