Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has talked up the potential of George Lewis to Football London.
Lewis is yet to be seen in Arsenal’s first-team, but he has made a big impact for their development side since signing in the summer.
Not much was known about Lewis when he arrived at Arsenal from the third tier of Norwegian football.

But Arteta has suggested that he already has his eye on the 20-year-old, as he has such a bright future.
“He’s a player with huge potential,” Arteta said.

“Norway are developing a lot of talent in recent years and it’s the fact that you’re doing a lot of things right from the academy, probably the government, with developing the programmes over the years.
“Now you can see some results and I’m pleased to see that because that means that these leagues are getting more and more competitive, and things are getting done better around Europe as well.”
Lewis has missed out on making Arsenal’s squad for their Europa League clash with Molde tonight, despite a number of young players being included.
The likes of Miguel Azeez, Folarin Balogun and Emile Smith-Rowe have all travelled to Norway.
And from the sounds of Arteta’s comments it might not be too long before Lewis has a chance of making first-team squads too, given his massive potential.
