Arsenal target Said Benrahma has been left out of Brentford’s match day squad yet again, as the speculation over his future continues.
90 Minutes claimed earlier this week that Benrahma is closing in on a move to Crystal Palace, but he may prefer the idea of a switch to Arsenal.
The winger is said to be delaying his move to Palace to see whether Arsenal come in for him.
It now remains to be seen whether he will get a move to the Emirates Stadium, but it does appear that the wide-man has now played his last game for Brentford.
The Bees were short of numbers last night for their League Cup match with Southampton, but decided to only put five substitutes on the bench, rather than give Benrahma some game time.
Brentford still went on to win the match 2-0 and cause a slight upset, but Benrahma’s omission points towards his move being close.

The Algerian, who was labelled as ‘outstanding’ by Sky Sports Football League expert Lee Hendrie last season, actually hasn’t played for the Bees at all over pre-season, so whoever signs him may not be getting a totally match-sharp player.
It has been suggested that if Arsenal do make a move for Benrahma then they will have to pay £25 million to land him by the Daily Mail.
