Dean Jones has told The Football Terrace that Arsenal wanting to sign Yves Bissouma is now ‘out of the window’.
The Brighton midfielder is someone who has been heavily linked to Arsenal for a while now, but it seems as though he won’t be joining Ben White at the Emirates.
Arsenal need some more attacking talent, goalscoring threat, defensive stability and bite to their midfield – some qualities Bissouma could provide.
But it seems as though he won’t be showcasing those talents on the Emirates turf next season, according to English journalist, Jones.
“Someone I spoke to a couple of days ago and I said ‘where are we at with Arsenal?'” said Jones.
“Most of the focus was spoken on Aaron Ramsdale. How they were trying to get that done. What their limitations were on it. The midfield is a big situation really.
“I think Bissouma is out of the window now. That’s not going to happen.”

Well, at least one Brighton player will be swapping the Amex for the Emirates this summer.
It has been widely reported that both the Seagulls and the Gunners have agreed on a £50 million fee for Ben White.
And whilst Arsenal might not land the talents of Bissouma this summer, they will have the central-defensive ball-playing talents of White to look forward to.
If he does make his expected move to North London then there’s no doubt that the Englishman walks straight into Mikel Arteta’s team and becomes their key figure at the back.
