The defender has spent three seasons at Sheffield Wednesday.

Daniel Pudil is desperate to discover whether or not he has a future at Sheffield Wednesday.
Pudil is one of seven Owls players who are out of contract at the end of this season, along with experienced quartet Glenn Loovens, Ross Wallace, Atdhe Nuhiu and Jake Kean, and youngsters George Hirst and Sean Clare, who each have offers in the table from Wednesday.

And speaking before the Owls boss via BBC Radio Sheffield, Pudil suggested that while he is keen to extend his three-year stay at Hillsborough, he is none the wiser as to whether or not that will happen.
“I haven’t had talks with anyone,” he said. “Of course, I would like to stay another year, another two years. But it depends on the season now, we have to finish as strongly as possible, get a little bit higher in the table. Then we are going to know if we are safe in the Championship.
“Maybe after those weeks, we can start to talk about a new deal. But first of all, I would like to play as many games as possible to help the team stay in the Championship. There is still plenty of time to talk about that.
“Of course, I would like to know as soon as possible as well. I’m turning 33 in September so I would like to know my future.”

It is thought that Wednesday have an option to extend Pudil’s contract by a further 12 months.
The Czech Republic international, who has been one of the Owls’ most consistent performers throughout Luhukay’s reign, admitted earlier in the campaign: “I don’t want to go anywhere else. I like Sheffield. I like the club and the fans. My family are settled in the area. I have two kids and one is in school and the other is in nursery.”
