Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United have been linked with Charles De Ketelaere, but according to Fabrizio Romano this evening, the Club Brugge star is about to join AC Milan.
Journalist Romano has tweeted this evening that Milan and Club Brugge are about to reach full agreement on the transfer of De Ketelaere this summer.
The two clubs are waiting to get the deal signed this week, with the 21-year-old attacking midfielder to put pen to paper on a contract until 2027, according to Romano.
Charles De Ketelaere blow for Leeds United and Arsenal
The well-known and well-respected journalist has added that De Ketelaere, linked with Arsenal and Leeds this summer, had agreed personal terms with Milan weeks ago.
Romano using his famous ‘Here we go’ phrase suggests that the deal is pretty much done, which will be a blow for Leeds and Arsenal.

It was only this week when The Daily Mail reported that Leeds believed that they could convince De Ketelaere to move to Elland Road because of the lure of playing in the Premier League.
Italian outlet CMW claimed just this month that Arsenal want to sign the attacker, who scored 14 goals in the Jupiler Pro League for Club Brugge last season.
But it seems that it is AC Milan who have managed to secure the services of the exciting and promising young star.
