The rumour mill surrounding Rodrigo De Paul to Leeds has well and truly fired up again after Andrea Radrizzani liked a tweet asking him to sign the Argentine midfielder.
It’s no secret that Leeds United are long-term admirers of De Paul, putting in numerous bids to sign him in the summer, but while a deal didn’t come to fruition in the summer, it seems as though United are still on his trail.
Indeed, reports linking Leeds with a move for the midfielder just won’t go away, and it seems as though this saga is set to have another interesting twist, with Mino Raiola reportedly looking to become his new agent according to Fabrizio Romano.
“Next summer we will see, because here in Italy we have rumours about Mino Raiola approaching Rodrigo De Paul as possibly his new player, so he is trying to get De Paul as his new player, and when there is Mino Raiola in the air, something big can happen,” Fabrizio Romano said on the Que Golazo Podcast.
This should prick the ears of everyone at Leeds United.
Andrea Radrizzani hasn’t been coy about the fact he has a good relationship with Raiola, and a link between Raiola and De Paul could certainly benefit Leeds.
“I have a relationship with Jorge Mendes, with Mino Raiola, I have a lot of good long-term friendships with top agents in the world, so if this is ok I would like to do the same,” Radrizzani told talkSPORT back in 2018.
Of course, Leeds currently have a Raiola client on their books, and while Ouasim Bouy hasn’t exactly been the dream employee since signing, the fact that he arrived at Leeds when they were in the Championship, despite being billed as one of the most talented players of his generation, shows that Raiola is willing to help United out from time to time.

The fact that Radrizzani had held talks with Zlatan Ibrahimovic last year shows once again that he does have a connection with Raiola, with the Swedish legend being perhaps his most high-profile client.
Of course, it won’t be straightforward for Leeds to land De Paul, Inter and Liverpool have also been credited with an interest, but if Raiola is in the equation, you have to imagine that Leeds and Radrizzani’s chances of landing the Argentine will increase.
