Richard Keys has stated that Tottenham Hotspur forward, Son Heung-min, is ‘class’ for how he reacted to South Korea getting dumped out of the Qatar World Cup.
The £22 million Tottenham forward (Guardian) was unable to help his side overcome an attack-heavy Brazil team that scored four first-half goals during their round-of-16 showdown.
Whilst South Korea did very well to reach the knockout stages of the World Cup, in the end, they were probably beaten by a team that is being backed to go all the way and secure glory in the Middle East.
Rather than dwell on that defeat, Son made sure not to blame his players and he expressed how ‘proud’ he was, as he told beIN SPORTS.
“We have given everything, don’t blame us like this,” Son told the reporter. “Brazil are the favourite. Look at their players – I am so proud of what they have done. I don’t want to blame them because they gave everything.”
The Tottenham man’s actions were praised by presenter Richards Keys and how he just ‘absolutely loves’ the player, as he told beIN SPORTS (05/12/22 at 9:30 pm).
“He is our favourite, whoever you are, top man here,” said Keys. “Class, absolutely love him, Sonny.”

Whilst Son will now look to mentally recover from that defeat, someone like Richarlison will be on cloud nine.
The Spurs summer signing scored during that game, and he even sent a classy and touching message to his club teammate after the match.
Richarlison isn’t the only north London attacker still in the competition because Harry Kane is on the other side of the draw, and there is every chance England could meet Brazil in the final.
