Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted on Twitter to the news that Anthony Joshua’s fight with Oleksandr Usyk will take place at their stadium.

Sky Sports have reported that the world heavyweight title bout is expected to take place at Tottenham’s 62,000 seater stadium in September.

Joshua was set to fight fellow Briton, Tyson Fury, in an undisputed world title fight, before it fell through following a US judge ordering the WBC champion to fight Deontay Wilder for a third time.

And whilst Tottenham still look for a new manager, 51 days since sacking Jose Mourinho, their fans have reacted to Daniel Levy seemingly putting his priorities elsewhere.

Levy has taken some heavy blows during these past few months and if he cannot produce a knockout manager then the reaction from his own fanbase will be even more ferocious.

When Tottenham fans are hearing news about their club, the understandably frustrated bunch want to hear about a new manager, not the club bulking themselves up financially in other areas that doesn’t directly improve footballing matters.

By the time Joshua and Usyk are trading blows in September, Spurs will be hoping their star man, Harry Kane, is still banging in the goals in their colours because his future is bigger than who the club decide to appoint.

It seems as though it won’t be Antonio Conte, after both parties seemingly disagreed as to where the club was heading.

And whilst Levy goes back to ‘square one’ to search for a fresh managerial face, Wolves, who parted company with Nuno Espirito Santo at the end of the season, have already brought in a new manager.

Nonetheless, here is a selection of Spurs fans reacting to Joshua’s/Usyk fight set to take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium:
