Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, Fabrizio Romano has been chatting about Granit Xhaka and his future at Arsenal.
The Swiss midfielder was strongly linked with a move to Roma in the summer, and at one point, it genuinely looked as though he would leave the Emirates.
However, here we are, the January window has been and gone and Xhaka is still on the books at Arsenal.
Although, Romano says that the midfielder could be on his way in the summer, stating that a move to Roma is one to keep an eye on.
What’s Romano said about Xhaka?
The journalist shared what he knows about the Arsenal ace.
“They had some rumours on Xhaka, but it was never real. I would watch Xhaka to Roma in the summer, not for January, but one for summer, it could be one to watch again,” Romano said.

Time is ticking
Xhaka may be entering the final few months of his career as an Arsenal player, and, to be honest, it’s probably about time for him to go.
The midfielder has been a great servant for the Gunners, but his ill-discipline remains an issue.
In fact, just last month the former Borussia Monchengladbach forward was labelled a ‘liability’.
With the London club going through something of a youth revolution right now, Xhaka being ushered out would make the world of sense.
A move to Roma would suit Xhaka as well. He’s the type of player that Jose Mourinho would love, and the slower pace of Serie A may allow him to make fewer high-profile mistakes.
