Some Tottenham fans on social media have been reacting after Sevilla’s president confirmed that Julen Lopetegui turned down a ‘dizzying’ offer to become Spurs’ next manager.
It’s no secret that Spurs have explored a plethora of options when it comes to replacing Jose Mourinho, but here we are, two months on from his dismissal and he still hasn’t been replaced.
Sadly for Tottenham, candidates keep slipping through the net, and it seems as though Lopetegui is the latest gaffer to turn down the chance to manage Spurs.
As you can imagine, Tottenham fans weren’t pleased to hear that their club had failed in their pursuit of another manager target.
This whole thing is becoming a bit of a shambles, and Daniel Levy needs to buck up his ideas or else he’ll be facing a mutiny amongst the fanbase.
Who will be Tottenham’s next manager? Nobody knows as of yet, but it looks like Lopetegui won’t be coming to north London anytime soon.
