Speaking on the Soccer AM YouTube channel, Neal Maupay has been talking about reported Tottenham Hotspur target Tariq Lamptey.
The striker was playing a game where he had to guess which Brighton player ranked highest on FIFA 22 for a number of different attributes.
When it came to pace, there were no prizes for guessing who Brighton’s top dog was as Lamptey rated higher than everyone else.
What’s Maupay said?
The Frenchman named Lamptey as one of the fastest players in the Premier League.
“To be fair, I’ve played with some quick players, but I think he’s definitely one of the quickest. He must be one of the quickest in the Premier league I think, especially for that first 10 or 20 minutes with his little legs going,” Maupay said.

Maupay certainly isn’t wrong about Lamptey, he’s one of the quickest players around at the moment.
As Maupay says, it’s even more impressive due to his diminutive size and short stride length.
Lamptey’s running cadence is bordering on ridiculous, and when he’s running at full speed he almost looks like a superhero with his pace.
There’s a reason the likes of Tottenham Hotspur have their eyes on this young man.
