Liverpool midfielder Thiago has raved about his teammate and goalkeeper Alisson on the club’s official website.
Thiago, who joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich last summer, has said that Alisson is one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
The Spain international made the comments about the Brazil international following his performance against Southampton at the weekend.
The 28-year-old Brazil international goalkeeper made some superb saves and helped his side to a 2-0 win at Anfield to maintain their chances of finishing in the Premier League top four.
Thiago told Liverpool’s official website: “We have one of the best goalkeepers in the world here with us.”
Alisson has not had the best of seasons and has made some bad mistakes.
There was one occasion against Southampton at the weekend when the Brazilian gave the ball away to Che Adams, but he did recover quickly.
Despite this, there is no doubt that Alisson is one of the best in the business, perhaps even the best goalkeeper in the world.

The 28-year-old is a safe pair of hands behind the defence and is a leader at the back.
Then there is Alisson being able to play out from the back and being absolutely superb with his passing.
It is very encouraging to see Thiago publicly praising his teammte Alisson.
It shows just how highly the Spaniard and his teammates rate Alisson, who will be keen on putting the 2020-21 campaign behind him and helping his side win the Premier League title next season.
