Tottenham Hotspur forward Lucas Moura is now ready to see out his contract to leave for free in 2023. The Brazilian also expects to earn transfer offers from Premier League teams.
That is according to the Daily Mail, which reports expectations are now increasing in north London that Moura will stay until his contract expires. Although Tottenham had confirmed back in 2019 that the 30-year-old had extended his £80k-a-week terms through until 2024.

Moura initially penned a five-and-a-half-year contract running to June 30, 2023 when the forward signed for Tottenham in January 2018. Mauricio Pochettino paid £23m to get the attacker from Paris Saint-Germain. But he now has a dire status under boss Antonio Conte.

Conte has only fielded Moura for a combined 90 minutes over eight Premier League games so far this season. He earned half of that total at AFC Bournemouth on October 29, as well, after entering the action at half-time. The 35-cap winger is yet to start a match this season.
He has, however, opened two ties in the Champions League from three appearances over the group stage. But Conte has not seen a single goal or an assist from the Sao Paulo-born dynamo yet. He scored six and created eight over 45 games in all competitions last season.

Moura expects to get offers in England if he leaves Tottenham in a free transfer
Now, Moura is looking to a future away from Tottenham with the Daily Mail reporting he is eying a free transfer next summer. The forward could yet leave Spurs during the upcoming January window if Conte can sign a replacement. But it is currently unlikely that he moves.
Sao Paulo are exploring Moura’s return to the Brazilian side he started his career at before joining PSG in 2013. But the 30-year-old expects to earn offers from Premier League clubs, as well. Aston Villa, Manchester United and Newcastle had targeted Moura in the summer.

Flamengo are also keen on taking Moura back to Brazil and may target the Tottenham ace for a January transfer. Bolavip reports the Rubro-Negro are exploring an initial loan move with an option to buy. Spurs would want €12m (£10.5m) to offload him during the winter.
A move to Flamengo would appear questionable, however, given Moura’s connections to his hometown club, Sao Paulo. Although Tottenham may appreciate the guarantee of any fee for a 5 ft 6 ace Ledley King once dubbed ‘one of the best little men I’ve seen in the air’.
