Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has raved about Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Mauricio Pochettino, who was appointed the new manager of Chelsea earlier this summer, worked with Harry Kane when he was the Tottenham Hotspur head coach.
And the Argentine has spoken highly of the £200,000-a-week (The Sun) star, saying that he is one of the best strikers on the planet.
Chelsea are reportedly on the hunt for a new striker, and the Blues have been linked with Kane.
90min reported in June that Spurs thought that Chelsea would try to sign the England international when Pochettino was appointed their manager.
The Independent reported in May that Pochettino had discussed with the Chelsea bosses the prospect of bringing Kane to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2023.
Manchester United have also been linked with Kane.

Pochettino told The Telegraph about Kane when asked whether or not he would like to sign him for Chelsea: “Oh my God!”
The Argentine then said: “I don’t like to talk about players in another club, but you are talking about one of the greatest, one of the best strikers in the world. It’s not fair to talk, it’s not fair to say nothing.

“People are not stupid, fans are not stupid, they are so clever and they know my relationship with him was always amazing. I saw him when he was young, grow up and achieve all he was achieving and, of course, we have a great relationship.
“At the moment, we are thinking in different ways. We are not thinking about that. I don’t like to talk about players and more than that players who were close to me.”
Could a summer transfer happen?
In our opinion, Chelsea are unlikely to be able to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
Yes, Pochettino had/has a great relationship with Kane, who is out of contract at Spurs at the end of next season.
However, Chelsea and Tottenham are bitter London rivals.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will surely not sell his most prized asset to the Blues.
And the 29-year-old striker himself may not be too keen on crossing the London divide and damaging his legacy at Spurs.
