Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane wants to join Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United amid interest from Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea, according to a report.

Manchester United and Chelsea linked with Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane

Both Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.

In May, The Independent reported that Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino has discussed with his bosses the prospect of signing Kane from Spurs.

Pochettino worked with the £200,000-a-week (The Sun) striker when he was the head coach of Tottenham.

Marca have claimed that Spanish and European giants Real Madrid are keen on securing the services of the 29-year-old striker.

The Sun claimed last month that United have made Kane their “main summer transfer target” and are confident of securing the services of the 29-year-old in a £100 million deal.

Kane wants Old Trafford transfer

Football Transfers are now reporting that Kane wants to join Manchester United, if not this summer then in the summer of 2024.

Kane will be out of contract at Spurs at the end of next season.

United are keen on bringing the striker to Old Trafford this summer and are ready to pay £100 million, but Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy does not want to sell him, according to the report.

Blow for Chelsea

That Harry Kane wants to join Manchester United in the summer transfer window is a blow for Chelsea.

Now, of course, it was/is unlikely that Chelsea were/are going to be able to sign the striker.

After all, Kane is a Spurs legend, and the England international will surely not want to tarnish his legacy at Tottenham by making the move to London rivals Chelsea.

Tottenham and Chelsea are bitter London rivals, and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will surely not want to sell him to the Blues.
