Speaking on the Spurs Versus Podcast, Tottenham legend Micky Hazard has claimed that Spurs should one million per cent be looking at Marcelo Bielsa as an option to be their next manager.
Bielsa showed Tottenham what he’s all about over the weekend as his Leeds side beat Spurs 3-1 on Saturday, and Hazard believes that the north London club should be considering Bielsa as an option.
“Talking about managers, it almost seems wrong to link Bielsa to the Spurs job. I’m not sure he’s been linked and I don’t even know if he’d take it, it seems disrespectful to Leeds to assumed that he’d go, but Micky, is that the sort of manager we should be looking at next?” The podcast’s host asked.
“One million per cent, one million per cent. You know, I’m a great believer having come through the system at Tottenham, and having learnt about the history, traditions the philosophies and the style that’s preached at Tottenham, the style of player, the quality of player and the passion that’s required, I think it’s important to get a manager along the same lines,” Hazard replied.

To be fair to Hazard, Bielsa would be a fantastic appointment for Spurs.
Of course, whether or not they can convince him to leave Leeds is another matter entirely, and for that reason, it seems an unlikely appointment.
However, it may be worth asking the question, Bielsa is out of contract this summer, so would be free to move, and in all honesty, Spurs are a more attractive club than Leeds.
