Some Arsenal fans on social media have been reacting after they were once again linked with a move for Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey.
What’s the story with Lamptey?
According to Duncan Castles on the Transfer Window Podcast, the Gunners are keen to bring Lamptey to the Emirates.
Arsenal have previously been linked with the right-back, but, for one reason or another, a deal has never come to fruition.
Castles says that Brighton will not stand in Lamptey’s way as long as their asking price is met, so it sounds as though this deal could be on the cards.
Exciting player
Fans online are very excited about the prospect of Lamptey coming to north London, and it’s not hard to understand why.
There’s an argument to be made about whether or not the 21-year-old would actually improve Arsenal’s squad, but one thing is for sure, he’d make the Gunners more entertaining.
Indeed, Lamptey’s pace and dribbling abilities make him one of the most exciting players in the Premier League, and if he came to Arsenal, he’d make the Gunners that much more entertaining.
