Oliver McBurnie has made a habit of posting tweets regarding his Swansea City teammate Daniel James since it first emerged that Leeds United want him.

In January, The Yorkshire Evening Post reported of interest from Leeds in the Swansea star.

The Telegraph later reported of James’s move from Swansea to Leeds falling through on January transfer deadline day.

The Mirror has reported that Leeds remain keen on securing the services of the 21-year-old – who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder – in the summer of 2019.

Swansea striker McBurnie has posted tweets on James before, as shown here and here, and he also joked during January that he will lock his teammate and will prevent him from joining Leeds.

James scored for Swansea in their 4-1 victory over Brentford at the Liberty Stadium in the fifth round of FA Cup on Sunday.

The winger played well, and his 22-year-old Swansea teammate McBurnie has posted a complimentary tweet about him.

James has made 15 starts and five substitute appearances in the Championship for Swansea so far this season, scoring two goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
