Swansea City’s Carroll will spend the rest of the season at Aston Villa.

Oli McBurnie has admitted that he misses Tom Carroll after the Swansea City midfielder was loaned to Aston Villa in January.
Carroll moved to Villa Park in the final hours of the winter window, a decision which left McBurnie – who is currently with the Scotland national team in Kazakhstan – ‘gutted’.
And it would appear the Swansea striker has yet to get over the 26-year-old’s departure – even though he is due to return at the end of the campaign.
Alongside a photo of the pair training at Swansea, McBurnie wrote on Instagram: “Miss u @tomcarroll28”.
And the feeling, it seems, is mutual, with Carroll replying: “Miss you pal…some player”.
However, the emotional exchange was not to everyone’s liking, with the Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham adding: “Get a room @oli_mcburnie @tomcarroll28”.
Abraham was a teammate of both players at Swansea last season.

However, he has only appeared twice with Carroll this campaign, with the former Tottenham Hotspur player used sparingly so far by Aston Villa.
Does Carroll, whose contract runs until the end of next season, still have a future at the Liberty Stadium?
