Sebastian Berhalter is expected to be the latest MLS star to swap the United States for English club Middlesbrough.
Adilson Malanda linked up with the Championship team midway through their 2025/26 season after agreeing to leave Charlotte in August 2025.
Prior to that, Aidan Morris joined Middlesbrough from Columbus Crew in 2024, where he had previously worked with USMNT star Berhalter and was part of an interesting TikTok video that is now doing the rounds on social media again.

Berhalter played five games for the USA during the 2026 World Cup, in which he scored one goal and provided one assist.
He seemingly caught the eye of Middlesbrough in that time, with talk emerging in England that he is close to agreeing a transfer from Vancouver Whitecaps.
If he does sign for Boro, Berhalter could be partnering Morris in their midfield during the upcoming 2026/27 season.
In turn, fans have now found an old video posted on the player’s official TikTok account that shows him and Morris dancing to an edited Taylor Swift song in 2020.
The video has been shared all over social media, including by one page where it has garnered over 350,000 views and over 2,500 likes.
Just some of the reactions to the video can be seen below, with one fan writing: “I WOULDN’T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY, MY CONFIDENT IN THEMSELVES MIDFIELD.”
“Can’t wait to drop this bad boy in every team we beat’s comment section,” added a second.
Another tweeted: “If this isn’t the announcement video, I want a season ticket refund.”
