Jamie O’Hara has added to his controversial comments about Rangers and has now claimed that Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa wouldn’t leave the club to manage at Ibrox, as he told Drive on TalkSport (04/08/20).

Earlier this week, O’Hara made the headlines [read here] after he claimed that managing Bournemouth is a ‘bigger’ job than taking the hot seat at Rangers.

There’s no doubt that O’Hara’s comments caused a bit of a stir, as he stood by his claims despite some heavy backlash.

The former Spurs midfielder then used recently-promoted Leeds as an example and how Bielsa wouldn’t leave Yorkshire for Glasgow.

“If you are Bielsa, you are not going to manage Rangers, are you?” O’Hara told TalkSport. “You’re not leaving Leeds to manage Rangers.”

The Leeds and Rangers debate could be argued given that they are both big clubs in England and Scotland, respectively.

But with Bournemouth, they are a small-sized club, who were punching above their weight prior to their relegation to the Championship.

Whilst being given a chance to earn promotion to England’s top-flight is lucrative because of the money that comes with it. There is still something special about managing at Ibrox.
