Graham Roberts was left fuming on Twitter after Jamie O’Hara claimed on TalkSport that managing Bournemouth is a ‘bigger’ job than taking charge at Rangers.

The former Ibrox player then asked O’Hara whether that also means Bournemouth are ‘bigger than Celtic’ because if that’s the case then he’s ‘dreaming’.

Bournemouth were recently relegated from England’s top-flight, and their long-time manager, Eddie Howe, has since left his post.

O’Hara was pointing out on TalkSport that he thinks that Steven Gerrard managing at Dean Court would be ‘bigger’ than at Ibrox, as he also claimed that Scotland only has ‘two clubs’ – Celtic and Rangers.

This was Roberts response to O’Hara following his quite controversial comments:

There’s no doubt that O’Hara will get a lot of stick for his comments, but then again when you are working on radio, they need to somehow get the listeners in and interacting.

It could be argued that Gerrard has perhaps one of the biggest jobs in British football, at this moment in time, because he is the one in the hot seat to try and stop ten-in-a-row.

If Gerrard can stop Celtic from getting to that historic achievement then there’s no doubt that he will go down in the legendry books at Ibrox.

But equally, this will be a defining season in Scottish football history because either the above will happen or Celtic will get to that historic landmark.
