Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac was forced off for Bosnia and Herzegovina due to injury against France.
The Gunners left-back was on the receiving end of a rough tackle by Sevilla defender Jules Kounde in the second half of Bosnia’s FIFA World Cup qualifier against France.
The La Liga centre-back was rightly sent off for his tackle on Kolasinac, which left the Arsenal defender with an injury that forced the fullback off the pitch.
Bosnia manager Ivaylo Petev told reporters after the game via Haris Mrkonja that the defender’s ankle “doesn’t look good”. Kolasinac will have more scans on the injury tomorrow.
It is a blow to Arsenal with a crucial game against Norwich City coming up next Saturday. Kolasinac started for Mikel Arteta’s side in the Gunners last Premier League match against Manchester City.
Indeed, there have been rumours all summer that the defender will leave Arsenal this summer. The former Schalke star, who earns £100,000-a-week, has one year left on his deal with the Gunners.

Moreover, this injury to Kolasinac could scupper any late departure for the Bosnian. After all, Turkish clubs are eager on the defender, with the window for Super Lig sides closing on September 5th.
Despite rumours of an exit, Arsenal fans on social media are upset to see Kolasinac pick up an injury whilst on international duty with Bosnia.
