Newcastle United have been strongly linked with a move for the Arsenal left-back, but Liverpool and Everton are also in contention according to the bookies.

Bet Victor are offering odds on Kieran Gibbs’ next club after the arrival of Sead Kolasinac at Arsenal – and Liverpool and Everton are both firmly in the running.

The Gunners left-back has been strongly linked with moves to Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion in recent weeks, and the pair have been installed as favourites [3/1] and second favourites [4/1] accordingly.

But with Liverpool 4/1 themselves and Everton right behind at 5s, the bookies seem to think a move to Merseyside could happen before 3 September.

Both clubs, like Newcastle and West Brom, are said to be eyeing left-back additions this summer, although Everton’s need is perhaps not as great, with Leighton Baines continuing to perform at a high standard.

Nevertheless, the Toffees may have one eye on the future, with Baines well into his 33rd year.

Liverpool have spent much of this past campaign with midfielder James Milner playing out of position, and are likely to move on Spanish left-back Alberto Moreno.

The Mirror reported earlier this week that Arsenal are seeking £15 million for Gibbs, whose contract expires in 12 months’ time, with Newcastle considering a firm bid.

Could Newcastle miss out on Gibbs’ signing to Liverpool or Everton?
