Tottenham have reportedly made a £130,000-a-week offer for AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie.
According to CalcioMercato, Spurs are eager to sign the Ivory Coast international. The 24-year-old’s contract with the Serie A giants expires next summer.
Moreover, Kessie appears reluctant to sign a new deal with Milan, with the north London side leading the chase to sign the former Atalanta midfielder.
As per the report, Milan have only offered Kessie a new wage of £82,000-a-week, meaning Tottenham could be well-positioned to sign the Serie A star in January on a pre-contract.
With Tottenham likely to be in the market for a central midfielder in the next few windows, Kessie could be an excellent addition to Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
The Milan star was key to the Rossoneri qualifying for the UEFA Champions League last season. The Italian giants will kick off their campaign against Liverpool later this week.

However, some Tottenham fans on social media are not convinced that Kessie will join the club. Nor that Spurs have actually tabled an offer of £135,000-a-week for the Ivorian.
Here’s what some Spurs fans has to say on Twitter about Tottenham making an offer for Kessie…
